Late 70's cut. It took me since 1997 gradually adding width to every pair I got for people to eccept them again. But there are still a few ideots out there. I've also found that the people who hate them are the ones who can't wear them. I've never knowen any item of cloathing that encourages such hate. That's something in itself. I think people assume that if they come back into fashion big time then we'll all start listening to Disco and the 70's will return. I'm sorry but they don't have that much power there just trousers with a little extra fabric round the ankle. And incase nobody's noticed the 70's have returned. All the bad stuff. Like strikes/ Terrorism and the rest. Who gives a crap what people think. If you want to wear flares then do it. You've only one life. And I'm not going to my death bed thinking. "Good I made everyone else happy." There are a lot of people who also have said how smart and classy the trousers are and the girls LOVE them. The trick is to look at home in them and not paranoid about what people think. Then they'll generally stay in stunned silence when you walk into a pub or wherever. On one occasion I sat infront of a DJ in a local pub in large light grey dress flares with a velvet black dress coat shirt and silver grey tie. And a group of six ned type had fuck all to do all night apart from look at me wherever I went in the place. Mabey it was because all the chicks were no more than two feet away from me all night. If you want to get laid. Get flares and fuck the rest of them. They'll catch on as soon as they see how much attention your getting from the Women that must see it as bravado or some shit.
